Inclusion in the inspection framework

I did two webinars this week on how to approach inclusion in curriculum and teaching without masses more work.
There’s sometimes a tendency to make things too easy for some of our pupils, in the mistaken belief that they can’t cope.
When in fact they can!
So, I started by asking what it is that pupils themselves have to say about the curriculum and about the level of work they’re given
The answers are surprising
It turns out they enjoy doing difficult, demanding work as long as the challenges are accompanied by low threat.
